# YOO GUNWOO

ユ ゴヌ

Born in South Korea in 2002 and currently based in Japan.

He graduated from LILA ATR High School in 2021.
 From April 2022 to October 2023, he served in the Republic of Korea Army and worked as an assistant instructor for reserve-force training.
 In 2025, he entered the Character Design Department at Kyoto University of the Arts, where he is currently studying.

His practice spans illustration, character design, visual planning, merchandise design, event visuals, production guides, foundational modelling, and AIGC animation. Beginning with observations of people, objects, and environments, he develops characters and worlds through drawing, visual development, modelling, and moving-image production.

He currently continues his studies in character and visual design while participating in moving-image production and experiments in human–AI collaborative workflows. His interests focus on how characters, spaces, and situations can be organized through images, animation, and production processes, and transformed into visual content capable of continued development.
