# ZHENGYI SUN

ソン セイキツ

Born in China in 2005 and currently based in Japan.

Entered the Oil Painting Course in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at Kyoto University of the Arts in 2026, and is currently studying there.
Interests are not limited to painting itself, but extend more broadly to human behaviour and the operating logic of technology. Daily activities include running, fencing practice, and conversations with others, through which different ways of expression, judgment, and understanding are continually observed.

A personal direction is currently being developed between the study of oil painting and independent research. Thought is brought into both observation and production, while possible relationships between painting, literature, grammar, desire, and hallucination continue to be explored.
